Even though we don't run tryouts...

We are NOT a summer camp or clinic,

we are a FULL Beach Club!

High Velocity Beach Club will be offering THREE options this season:

Option One:

High Velocity Beach Next

For girls 8U-U14. Novice to advanced. Partner recommended, but not required. No preferred partner-we do our best to partner them for tournaments. All are welcome-for the hybrid athlete to one that wants to consider becoming a beach-only athlete in the future.

Training 2 days a week. Will learn fundamentals of beach doubles. Will learn beach terminology and rules of the game. Training/drills are focused on individual athlete growth & are not partner driven. Every training session will include a variety of drills that will not only develop, but also strengthen & improve all fundamentals of their beach game! Will learn beach strategies to grow their technical skills & increase their volleyball IQ so they can be successful in competitions. The drills are progressive as they grasp the concepts. For hybrid athletes, it's the perfect way to elevate their indoor game, as it offers an excellent cross-training environment strengthening their serving, passing, setting & hitting which creates a well-rounded athlete! Has a full season tournament tour schedule-athlete chooses what dates fit into THEIR summer schedule-so they can reenforce what they have learned! Athletes can either compete in a few tournaments or the serious athlete will choose to do the whole HV tournament tour!! Tournaments are local & regionally located. Bid qualifiers are offered so athlete has an opportunity to travel & compete in Beach Nationals!

Who: Girls ages 8-14

Beginner/Advanced beach athletes

Training 2 days/week

When: May 30th - 2nd week of August, 2024

Tuesday/Thursday

Opportunity to Earn a Bid to AVP Nationals & East Coast Championships: 

AVP Nationals:

Save the dates: July 22-28, 2024

Beach Championships:

Save the dates: End of November 2024

The Base Cost is: $475.00

Included: Training season & HV tank.

All REQUIRED uniforms, beach volleyball (if new), tournament entry fees, coaches fees, travel fees, National travel fees (if applicable) & memberships are all additional costs & are TBD. All are the responsibility of each athlete.

For hybrid players, it's the perfect way to elevate their indoor game, as it offers an excellent cross-training environment strengthening their serving, passing, setting & hitting which creates a well-rounded athlete! Has a full season tournament tour schedule-athlete chooses what dates fit into THEIR summer schedule-so they can reenforce what they have learned! Athletes can either compete in a few tournaments or the serious athlete will choose to do the whole HV tournament tour!! Tournaments are local & regionally located. Option Three:

College Ready Elite National Team

For girls 15U-18U. Advanced. For the athlete who has had formal beach doubles training, wants to elevate their beach game & challenge themselves to one that is considering becoming beach-only in the future or is already a beach-only athlete with aspirations to play at the collegiate level. Partner recommended, but not required. When choosing a partner-think position specific. No partner-one will be chosen upon evaluation/sole discretion of the directors.

Training 2 days a week-with increased practice duration. Training/drills are focused on individual athlete growth & are not partner driven. Training is position-specific focused. Every training session will include a variety of rigorous advanced drills that will continue to strengthen & improve all fundamentals of their beach game! Collegiate based drill set: They will learn advanced collegiate drills & beach strategies to continue to grow their technical skills & continue to increase their beach volleyball IQ when it comes to being successful in competitions. Training will be progressive & will include game-like scenarios and scrimmaging. Training sessions will include rigorous conditioning-increasing stamina & quickness in the sand.

For hybrid players, it's the perfect way to elevate their indoor game, as it offers an excellent cross-training environment strengthening their serving, passing, setting & hitting which creates a well-rounded athlete!

For beach-only minded athletes or ones considering this as their focus, this rigorous training will prepare one to not only compete nationally, but also to compete at the collegiate level. Would be prepared for Winter Beach & the recruiting process to help, "Get Noticed" by college programs.

Has a full season tournament tour schedule- there will be some tournament offerings that will be different from the rest of the club ie. women's division tournaments or with some travel involved. Athletes will be required to compete in AVP bid Qualifiers as it's a goal to earn bids. The expectation is that the athlete competes in either AVP Nationals or AVP East Coast Championships or both.

Who: Girls ages 15-18

Advanced Beach Athletes

Training 2 days/week

When: May 29th-2nd week of August, 2024

Opportunity to Earn a Bid to AVP Nationals & East Coast Championships:

The Base Cost is: $850.00

Forms MUST be turned in at the Pre-season Meeting. All participants must read, agree and sign the High Velocity Agreement and Release Form which is required.

 The following forms must be submitted: the Medical Release Waiver, the Athlete Concussion Form, a copy of the athlete's Badger Region and AVP Membership cards.
